Radar sensors on the rear bumper can alert you to vehicles next to and diagonally behind you, in case you haven’t already noticed them.
Driver Attention Warning (DAW) analyses your driving behaviours over time. If it notices signs of fatigue or recognises you’ve been driving continuously for an extended period, pop-up messages and audible warnings will suggest you take a break.
When the car ahead is too close for comfort, the Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist utilises the windshield- mounted camera to detect the car’s proximity. It can also detect pedestrians that are travelling in front and can automatically apply the vehicle’s brakes in the case of a potential collision.
Scans the road ahead for approaching headlights, then can automatically adjust your headlamp range, switching between high and low beam as appropriate.
This system monitors the opening and closing of the KONA’s rear doors, to help make sure nothing and no one is accidentally left behind inside. When the driver stops the engine and opens their door to exit, ROA will display a “check rear seats” alert message in the instrument cluster.
At speeds of 60 km/h or above, if your Venue notices that it’s straying out of its lane without its indicators being activated, an audible and visual alert will be triggered.
Keeps an eye out for vehicles approaching from either side of you when you’re reversing out of a perpendicular parking space. If it detects them, audible and visual warnings will activate.
